I recently stayed at Tequila Sunrise Hostel in Surfers Paradise for a week-long beach getaway. The location couldn't be better, right in the heart of Surfers Paradise. The friendly receptionist, Alfonso, made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The entrance with the clean and inviting kitchen, balcony, and sofa area set a great first impression. Despite the huge dorm room with bunk beds, the bathroom was well organized and clean. The thoughtful amenities like free towels, blankets, and clean sheets, as well as the individual light and power points in each pod bed, made for a comfortable stay. Plus, the highlight was the surprise of complimentary dinner and delicious pancake breakfast. For the price, I definitely recommend this hostel.
Can recommend this hostel.

The layout of the hostel was perfect! It was really well designed and the bathrooms were kept reasonably clean. I also loved the location, just a couple of minutes walk from the beach and lots of restaurants nearby. The hostel offered delicious free breakfast and dinner, which was a lovely bonus. Despite being in a room with 100 other people, I had privacy in my bunk and there was a lot of storage space under the bunk for my things. The common areas were also very clean and well-maintained.
Although there were some minor drawbacks, like the noise level at night and the lack of hooks in the showers, overall I had a great experience at Tequila Sunrise Hostel Surfers Paradise. The staff were super friendly and the sense of community they fostered created a great vibe throughout the hostel.

The hostel is in a prime location, close to all the action and attractions. The staff were friendly and helpful, making sure I had everything I needed. The free dinner and pancake breakfast were a pleasant surprise and a great way to start the day. The rooms were clean and well-organized, with individual lights and power points in each bed.
The dorm room lacked windows and proper ventilation, making it feel stuffy and cramped. The lack of storage space for large luggage was inconvenient, leading to a messy dorm room.

Perfect hostel. It was my first experience with such a large dormitory, and I only booked 2 nights initially but ended up extending for another 5 nights. When I return to Surfers Paradise, I will definitely choose this place again. Everything was excellent, from the comfortable beds to the clean toilets. The staff were incredible, making me feel like family from day one. The free breakfast and dinner had a good variety of options, and the hostel was conveniently located near the tram station, nightclubs, and bars. The cleanliness and the provision of free toiletries and towels were also commendable.
Totally recommend this hotel.

Unbelievably quiet dorm room with cozy bunk beds and a magical smell-free shoe shelf. Spotlessly clean bathroom and kitchen. Perfect location next to tram station, yoga studio, second-hand store, bars, and restaurants. Awesome indoor and outdoor areas. Free delicious breakfast and dinner with a variety of options. Strong Wi-Fi and BYO drinks on the balcony. Conveniently close to transport, nightlife, and all amenities. Friendly staff and fellow travelers. Can't wait for my next stay!

The value for money at this hostel was unbeatable. The room was clean and new, and the location was just a short walk from the beach. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the complimentary towel and toiletries were a nice touch.
One small suggestion to improve the breakfast would be to offer some variety beyond the delicious pancakes, maybe with options like baked beans or sandwiches.
